The Guiding Hand of God in Ministry.

In June of this year, one of the ministries of my church had to close its doors due to government regulation of food service that includes every time an organization serves the public. With a 135+ year old building, needless to say the though of bringing our kitchen up to code was a little daunting. Being pretty much a ministry of week to week the Shepherd's Table ,that fed one meal a week to anyone who came, closed it's doors and the consequences of this regulation were felt in some other events of our church. For over 70 years, our church has given a hunters dinner on the first day of deer season; we can't do it any more either.

After a couple of months, we had pretty much given up. The cost for a small church was too high.
God steps in. Just this weekend there have been a number of events that are now in the works that may change all this. It involved a lot a 'random' factors that came together and now it looks like there is possibility things may turn around. I will say no more at this time but understand there is a great testimony of God's hand in the works. More to follow.

Glory to God.
